The elderly lady next door has one of these. We had cause to use it the other day when she locked herself out of her house.
I went over there and discovered that the police, ambulance, fire all held her code on file incase there was an emergency at her house, they could gain access without smashing the door.
A simple phone call to her handyman and he gave her the code, which she relayed to me and I was able to gain easy access.
My mum needs one of these she is always locking herself out.
I did try to break the code for ages before the neighbor remembered her handyman had the code and was not able to break into it.

This is a great product, it is easy to install, it does the job, every house or apartment should have one. Great for a person who lives by them selfs.
