I have always owned crisper pizza pans, and mine are pretty old now...so I thought I would try this affordable new version. {Most good ones are at least double this cost.} Its built well, has a good non stick surface, but because the holes are HUUUUUGE the pizze bottom gets done too quick and can end up making the pizza too dry. I will fine tune cooking with it for now, but would not purchase it again.

I like to make pizza at home, dressing up a frozen cheese pizza with veggies. By the time I get it "decorated" the crust is often thawing and difficult to slide onto a bare oven rack. Not only does the pizza crisper solve this problem, but it cooks the pizza more slowly and evenly, producing a crisp golden brown crust top and bottom. No more cold veggies and burned bottom. I'll never make another pizza without it.

I had my doubts about this crisper. My primary concern was clean-up which I though would be a mess, with all the holes for cheese and tomato paste to cling to. All fears were allayed when I treated a pepperoni pizza to a funeral pyre befitting a Viking king. Once the smoke cleared, I removed the tray from the oven, believing it to be a lost cause. Much to my amazement, the whole mess, incinerated pizza and all, cleaned up with a damp cloth leaving nary a clue as to my misadventure. Definitely amazed!

I honestly don't know how I ever lived without this pan. Very non-stick and makes crispy...crispy fries. Love this pan. Really.
