If you have to take fingerprints, this is the way to do it. Minimal mess (cleans up with a fresh wipe), easy to manipulate to get good coverage on prints, and produces legible, crisp prints. Good little pad - much better than ink!

"Demanding Consumer"
I revised my will and wanted to fingerprint-authenticate a copy that I was giving to my Executor (not legally necessary, but a nice touch). So I dipped my right index finger (to match my gun permit's fingerprint) in this product and it worked just fine -- good print, no mess.
Only problem is, that print does NOT match my gun permit's print. WTF? Like, did my local sheriff's department pull a switcheroo on me? Do fingerprints change over time or something? Ah, life's problems....
Anyway, back to this product. So yeah, the price seemed right, but the added S&H charge hurt -- like over half the cost of the original product. Ouch!
Still, it's not like you can just go to Wal-Mart to find this....

This Product arrived late. By then, I had to use a Office Depot ink pad for my baby's fingerprints that were required for a official document.
In my opinion, this product is good for fingerprinting. It contains wax which does not cause blotting.

The prints I try to get using this are illegible. The ink is inconsistent and the pad isn't even secured in the casing. I can't use this to take any prints, and I'm forced to throw it away.
