Stylish & Useful Feb 05, 2010

Even though these are only cardboard banker boxes, I found that the cornflower blue color really made them stand out as something much more. These magazine files are sitting under my nightstand, holding magazines from the last four years. They are sturdy, nice to look at, and organized.

Magazine Box Apr 07, 2010
By Harvey G. Gross Jr. Great space saver for those magazines that clutter up the house. Just like your local library uses. Easy to use, label, and store.

Sturdy and attractive Nov 16, 2011
By z_bookworm These are made of a stiff corrugated, and the clever design makes them hold together well. They're large enough for almost all magazines, each one holds about 20 of average thickness, and you can see the titles. Great for journals and special interest magazines you may need to refer to. I like the spot on the front to label the contents. They look even better in person, keep your bookshelves neat, and make it possible to keep your magazines in order for easy retrieval. Basically, a big bang for the buck.

nice color, quality, etc. A no-brainer. Great way to organize papers, school books, etc. Even parts and manuals for your gadgets, tools, projects, kitchen items, magazines, clutter.

Exactly what I expected May 05, 2012
By Stella Nemeth These are cardboard magazine files, intended to sit on a shelf and make organizing your magazines easy. I bought two sets. They went together easily. They look really pretty on the selves.
There is a trick to making these up. Following the instructions help, but they don't tell you to push the pieces in until they fall into place and interlock and then push them back where they belong. But once you get the hang of it, you don't need to tape anything.
I haven't tried to carry these around filled. That isn't what they are intended for. They are intended to sit on a shelf and rarely get moved. If you need to fill a box like this and move it from place to place you need to get something a lot more expensive.
I've used file boxes like these for decades successfully. It is time to replace some of them because after 20 years they tend to get a bit yellow looking. They do the job they were designed to do, and they do it well.
